Besonderheiten Research- / Investmentprozess
The Jupiter Europa fund, launched in 2010, is managed by Mike Buhl-Nielsen. It is a high-conviction long/short European equity fund and one of its key attributes is the mitigation of drawdown, which can be achieved through managing exposure (short-book).
Thematic PresentationSeeking alpha generation in a European long/short strategy.
Equity market valuations are high and volatility is low, while concerns about the interest rate environment persist and political risk remains elevated. It is therefore understandable that some
investors want to be prepared for market corrections. Mike Buhl-Nielsen believes that he has two key competitive advantages in his Jupiter Europa strategy, through a focus on business fundamentals while seeking to identify the strategic value that arises from corporate events such as takeovers. The second edge derives from taking an unusual approach to options trading as a way of seeking to mitigate drawdowns. Both these edges are grounded in extensive, tangible experience of options trading, event-driven analysis, and fundamental analysis. Find out more about how Mike believes that this can translate into strong risk-adjusted returns throughout a market cycle.
